I've never tried brining the turkey - how do I do that exactly? For me, every thanksgiving is an opportunity to knock my families socks off with great dishes. I love to cook, too. I never eat the turkey but I'm always striving to make it the best one they've ever tasted. my other favorite southern dishes made from scratch are homemade cornbread dressing and gravy (they never know the gravy is meatless), candied yams, turnip greens (also meatless), red velvet cake and peach cobbler. we have tons of other food too like Mr. W's homemade mac n cheese and the old standard green bean casserole.

Happy Thanksgiving Southern Sister!Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04119471756261855850noreply@blogger.com
