AUTUMN GARDEN RENOVATION

Euphorbia amygdaloides var. 'robbiae '
aka Wood Spurge

" Rich deep shiny green evergreen leaves are tipped spring to mid summer with interesting chartreuse yellow flowers held on thick wiry stems. " Sold . All I need to do now is to thin out the Rudbeckia and plant it there.

I'm on a mission this Autumn : Divide and conquer the rudbeckias, phlox , sedum and Korean bellflowers.

Add some more perennial mums, coneflowers, daffodils and tulips.

  1. Sound like good missions to me, Carolyn. I'm a big fan of euphorbias, having planted half a dozen new ones this summer (note to self--go find labels and record them NOW!!)
No missions here other than a bit of tidying before I go off on a trek in about a week's time. More on that later in the week, though. Haven't even started thinking about bulbs, though I must write an article about them shortly!

  2. Hi Jodi,

    Wow, you've already planted 6 euphorbias ? I'm impressed.

Time to start thinking bulbs !

  3. Carolyn. Divide and Conquer sounds like a good plan! I need to take that action myself and "take back" my yard!
