  2. That's a very pretty collage you've made. And you have a nice list of blooms too. I enjoy seeing what other garden bloggers have in flower in their gardens, don't you?

BTW my blooms for GBBD are up too.

  4. One would never know what a rough summer you Chicagoans experienced - your garden looks fresh and lovely Carolyn. Your foliage plants like the Limelight really glow!

At first I couldn't see much in the collage - then realized it enlarged when clicked - very clever idea!

  5. Thanks, Annie. Forgot to mention to click on to enlarge. Thanks for reminding me.

The Limelight hydrangea is so incredible. Anything that looks like it and blooms for 3 months is most welcome in my small garden.

  7. I love all of the chartreuse you have right now! So fresh, and yet still fall-like when combined with other flowering plants. Beautiful.

  8. Hey Gina,

That Limelight likes sun or shade, doesn't seem to mind either one as long as you plant it right ( lots of acidic soil amendments such as peat moss or black forest soil conditioner) and keep it well watered.

You need one of those !
