THANKS ( I think ) BLOGGER FOR MAKING ME FAMOUS

My thanks once again to Blogger for selecting me as a Blog of Note. The past week has sent more than 30,000 visitors from all over the world to Sweet Home and Garden Chicago. I'm lucky to get that many in a year.

While most of the messages were complimentary I did receive a warning that "google was spying for the CIA, " a few propositions and some solicitations to advertise.

I look forward to seeing more garden bloggers become a Blog of Note.

  5. Know what you mean about strange messages..I didn't get the spying for the CIA one ~ but did receive a lot of laughable bizarre requests. It amazes me with so much awesome stuff to do in life; some spend their's on time drenching antics....I did get a desperate frantic money request...other than that everything was quite lovely thanks to blogger ;-)

  6. Hi Ingar,

Love your new photo! Hey, did you hear about the first Korean astronaut, a female ? My son says she'll probably be the first to take Kimchee to the moon : )

Typical of Korean moms, her's fainted dead away just as she was taking off !

  8. Thanks, Phillip. A hundred a day is not shabby and much closer to norm than 30,000. Blogger really puts your name out there in the big world wide web .

  13. You have relatives in Chicago, Ingar? Gosh, hope they didn't see you ranting or your name is mud :)

I think my son was joking about the kimchee. She probably had to eat one of those fast food noodle dishes.
