Painting of my beloved Shih tzu Odie
Just recently I posted no. 365 . Never in my wildest imagination would I have ever dreamed of having 100,000 people visit my blog when I began it two years ago. I have Blogger's Blog of Note to thank as well as Stuart at Blotanical and Garden Voices.
It's been an incredible experience and I've met a lot of wonderful garden bloggers along the way.
I'm hoping that if Chicago gets the 2016 Olympics I'll be able to meet some of them here in the windy city.

Congratulations Carolyn - that's very impressive!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! I am not surprised you have had so many visitors, your posts are thoughtful and Muse Day is a delightful meme that I have enjoyed all over the blog world! I don't always post but I am one of the frequent visitors! have a delightful day!

Hi Carolyn Gail, it's been awhile since I visited and want to congratulate you on this accomplishment. Your wonderful art is still amazing and I remember well you winter spent in Florida away from your garden. When the garden bloggers meet up next fall, ask Mr. McGregor's Daughter when that will be, we do hope to be able to meet you. Well done.

Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'll ever be able to boast of my blog visitors, because during the summer most of my hits are from searches for a zucchini bread recipe, LOL! I always know when the zucchini is ripe because my hits increase dramatically.
Congratulations! I hope I can get to Chicago again one day. I've been there once before and I enjoyed it tremendously.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteYour painting is gorgeous. How talented you are! I very much enjoy seeing your artwork. I hope we'll get to meet at the Chicago fling next year.
How wonderful Carolyn and lucky for us ... keep 'em comin'! Love the painting.
ReplyDeleteWell done you have a great blog. Long may it continue.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on this milestone!
ReplyDelete(For some reason, by the way, I can't get your feed to show up for me on Google Reader. It worked at one time, then I thought you had stopped posting, then realized the feed had just stopped working. Any ideas?)

Thanks, Carol.
ReplyDeleteI had my computer geeks check my feed and he says its fine and that it must be from your end.
Thanks to all for your visit and comments.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Carolyn! 100,000 visitors is quite a milestone.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been here for awhile, but I do enjoy your posts and especially the Muse Day on the first of the month. I always look forward to reading all the poetry that everyone posts.
I just read your last post about dieting--I can relate to everything you said! For me, though, the last 10 years have been a time of putting on a few more pounds each year without eating more. That's hard to deal with when you grew up as a "skinny girl," as you said. I don't believe in fad diets, either, but The Good Calorie Diet sounds like a sensible one.
Congratulations Carolyn Gail! :-) I also wanted to let you know I've posted my September Muse. http://yardisgreen.blogspot.com/2008/08/september-september-september-really.html
ReplyDeleteWHoooo Hooooo Congrats Carolyn. Your blog is special and it is no wonder you have so many hits.
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised at your readership at all, Carolyn! Your blog is wonderful and I need to visit much more often instead of playing catch-up all the time! (Seems like that's all I've done all summer with everything!)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and here's to many more years!
Congrats!
