I thought I'd kick of the year with some Tennyson, it's his bicentenary this year after all. This extract from 'In Memorium' seems wholly appropriate for the New Year.
What a nice reminder that 2009 is a new beginning (day-by-day) for Everyone! Happy New Year to you, Carolyn Gail! (I posted Garden Bloggers' Muse Day a day early.)
I stumbled on your Muse Day here and posted my own tribute being so inspired. Lovely poems and images you've posted month by month Carolyn. I really enjoy your art work too. Happy New Year everyone.
VP, Sacha, Tina, Shady Gardener, Patient Gardener, and Ann Travers -I thank you all for participating and wish you a very Happy New Year. I will stop by to read your musings.
Hi Carolyn gail, I've been planning to join you in the muse day post but haven't had time to get a post written today (now, yesterday :-( ) So..I'm on my way to bed now, and tomorrow I will add a post and link it here! Just wanted to let you know I've not forgotten about this! Jan
My Muse Day post went up on time - I just didn't get here in time. Loved the music and the global wishes. I took a more political (kind of) tack. May we all have happy growing and blooming this year.
Happy New Year Carolyn!
