Blue is so cool I guess that's why I'm drawn to it. I have creeping blue phlox and ajuga, forget-me-nots , blue iris, blue bells, blue spiderwort, catmint, and blue pansies.
Time for self-analysis : Why am I so blue ? I've gotta change my palette - throw in some yellows and pinks for contrast.
What colors dominate in your garden palette ?
GREEN!!! I have so much shade in my yard that I have a lot of shady plants of various green colors. But at any chance I get, I plant something pink. Oh, I forgot, the previous owner liked purple because I have purple irises, purple phlox, and another purple plant which hasn't been ID'd yet.
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemarie,
ReplyDeleteI've gotta follow your example : buy pink.
Right now, white predominates in my garden, with touches of blue.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carol. I finally got my blogroll together and now have you on the list. Thanks for your patience.
ReplyDeleteWhite is also a lovely color, especially in the shade.
Hi Carolyn, I do visit your blog, I'm sorry that I've neglected to leave a comment. I am very partial to pink.
ReplyDeleteHey Robin, and thanks for stopping
ReplyDeleteby . I hope your Mother will be okay. I was born in Jasper and grew up in Winfield. What's your hometown ?
Blue flowers seem to abound now. I posted a bunch of blue flowers but amazingly none of the ones you posted! Very pretty - especially the Ajuga but all the photos seem squashed except for the catmint and phlox?
ReplyDeleteHello Carolyn Gail,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad i came across your garden.
Wow, such a fun life you have!
My garden colors??? Oh count me in with the BLUES!
I love the blues and the lavender, purples. I'm nuts for it. So serene.
I do have other colors . . . red, pink, white, peach, and GREEN,
yet I am so drawn to blue.
Thanks for stopping by, Becky. Glad you are drawn to blue like myself.
