CHICAGO BOTANIC GARDEN

I'll be out in the field installing a beautiful new garden today. I hope you'll enjoy this video while I'm out working my butt off. Happy Friday, Y'all.

  2. I couldn't even bring myself to push the button, Carolyn... this was one of my most favorite places in the world but I haven't been there in a decade. Sigh.

  4. Hi Carol,

Annie is homesick for Chicago! Thanks for visiting and you should go to the Chicago Botanic garden one day. It's a real treat.

  5. Homesick for some parts of it, anyway!!

I gave in and watched the video - thanks for the link, Carolyn. We first started going there in the early 1980's, when the Japanese garden, conifers, entrance, English Walled garden, etc, etc. were still in the planning and design stages. It was fun to watch how much had changed on our return visits, once or twice a year.

  6. Thanks, Annie. I'm sure the video was not as good as your actual return visits.

How exciting to watch the Japanese and English Walled garden evolve. Those are two of my personal favorites.
