Merry Christmas From Sweet Home and Garden Chicago

What are these people doing to me?

Merry Christmas from Sweet Home and Garden Chicago. Our mascot, Jojo the silver/black mini Schnauzer, is so confused by the newest addition to our household - Lea, our first grandchild. She seems to think its some kind of big wind up toy and has gone bonkers trying to get close enough to grab it.

  13. Enjoy your first grandchild. I welcomed my first daughter into the world this year and it has been a blessing. The cats are still confused but the baby is very happy.

Godspeed to you in during these holidays and may the sun shine upon your new year.

  14. Jojo will probably be confused for a while... but eventually they will surely have fun together. One of our three-year-old granddaughters LOVES our dog (Sidney)and calls every dog she sees by his name. :-)
I'm sure you had a wonderful Christmas celebration as a new grandparent.

  15. Hey Shady Lady,

You bet I had a wonderful Christmas celebration with Lea. She's 6 weeks old and the size of a 4 month old at 11 lbs!

I've been re-doing my blog roll and have you on again. Sorry about the delay.

Happy New Year to you and yours.

  16. Poor Jojo. It is a confusing issue being dethroned by such a sweet smelling, living, breathing baby. Merry Christmas to you and yours...and a Happy New Year.

  19. I meant to ask if you are planning a Florida trip this year? The beautiful weather awaits you. This time you would have to come for a visit.

  20. Thanks, Lisa, Flowergardengirl and Meems. I hope the new year will be filled with many blessings for you and your family.

I'm afraid there's no leisurely vacations this year due to my daughter returning to work and I am to be a full-time caregiver.

I know what beautiful weather you have in Florida in February, Meems. I so enjoyed it this year.
