THE INTENTION OF THE GARDENER

The Fourth Season

Gardening Gone Wild's theme for July is the Intention of the gardener. Looking at the photo above of my garden in December only a true gardener would know my intention right away :  Having a garden with four seasons of interest.

  1. I think your intention is very clear, but of course I am a gardener. . . And I think that you have definitely achieved your intention with the different structural forms of the trees and shrubs making beautiful patterns. Good luck in the contest.

  2. I love to look out in the garden in winter to see all of the different shapes and colors.

  4. This is a great take on the contest's theme, Carolyn! Winter interest is something we beginning gardeners don't often think about when planting, but I've come to really appreciate the "bones" that hang around over the winter to create some beautiful scenes. A lovely winter garden.
