But shouldn't you be dancing to something like "It's My Party" or "Louie, Louie" or singing "Ring of Fire" with Johnny Cash? You guys were together for 20 years when Kenny & Dolly crooned this one ;-]

44 years together must really agree with you, by the way. You don't look much older than 44 in your pictures--I guess that like the best relationships, you two keep each other young? :)
Kim, you've made my day ! It must've been the lighting the professional photographer did when he shot that photo. Simon and I are both too busy enjoying life to get old.
Congratulations, Carolyn and Simon!

You're a real music historian, Annie. Actually, West Side Story was the first musical we went to see together.
ReplyDeleteSimon loves popular and classic music and I of course was born country. I do like different kinds of music as well.
I just loved the words of the song, " Islands in the Stream. "
Congratulations! I forgot how much I enjoyed their singing together. I really enjoyed that video. Great song.
ReplyDeleteThanks, vonlafin. I love, love, love Dolly and Kenny both together and separately.
ReplyDelete44 years together! That is marvelous--a real testimony to love and commitment. May you and Simon have many more years making music together :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Carolyn Gail and Simon!

Thanks, Jodi, for your good wishes.
