GARDEN BLOGGERS' BLOOM DAY

Jasper in May
by Moi

That old rascal groundhog didn't see his shadow in Chicago so I'm going against that Pennsylvania weather prediction of six more weeks of Spring. January was horrible but thus far February has given us some days to dream about Spring.

Hard as I tried to find blooms for today ( snowdrops where are you?) there were none in sight so I decided to lift my spirits by painting an entire meadow such as those I used to roam in when I was young in Sweet Home Alabama. The sight of jonquils and wild blue phlox are embedded forever in my memory.

To see what's blooming in gardens around the globe visit Carol at May Dreams Gardens and join in the fun.

  1. Thanks Sweetie. You can do a post for Garden Blogger's bloom day on one of your fabulous indoor blooming plants. Visit Carol at Maydreams gardens and look at her indoor garden.

  2. Carolyn Gail, that is a beautiful painting and I think it is one of your best, and you've shown us some in the past that I thought were great paintings. Thanks for sharing it with us for bloom day!

  7. You painted a wonderful picture, even with your words as I can feel the warmth now and hear the birds-and it's snowing here! Have a great day.
