Back in high school we used to snicker every Spring when the Spinster teacher would always ask if their were any good "hoe-ers " in our class.
Well Spring has sprung a few days earlier than the calendar says its due so before you rush outside and go gung-ho in the garden take a look-see at how to get those couch-potato muscles warmed up first !

Well, you are day too late! I really know better, and I think of myself as someone who exercises, but I really went gung ho yesterday, bending, bagging, pruning and today I am walking like the tin man. I will warm up before I goout today, if I can bend anything.

This video convinced me of two things. 1. I need a garden fitness manager. 2. I need polka dotted garden boots.
ReplyDeleteNice post.

Too late. . . I've already overdone it out there, and I'm feeling it. Oh well, at least I've been good about taking walks the last month or so - that sure helped when it came to walking around downtown last week!
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious! I was worried a bit about them hitting one of those huge glass windows though!
ReplyDeleteI always have plans of this big garden, then after one day of spring hoeing... my back wonders where we will be buying tomatoes this year.
ReplyDeleteFabulous Friday Favorite!
